Appointments and policies:
I'm always glad to hear from you. Please note that I may not be able to answer your call during a session. If I’m unavailable, leave a message and I’ll return your call within 24 hours.
In case of an emergency, contact the San Diego Access & Crisis Line at (800) 479-3339 or dial 911 for medical emergencies.
Office Hours:
I typically see patients Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with limited availability for early morning or Saturday sessions upon request. Standard sessions are 50 minutes.
Cancellations:
To avoid being charged, please cancel or reschedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance.
New Patients:
Please download and complete the intake forms before your first visit. You may fax them to (858) 263-4206. To protect your privacy, avoid sending sensitive information via email.
About Our Team:
At La Jolla Psychology Center, we take a collaborative approach to care. Dr. Boscan personally reviews each case and may assign you to the clinician best suited to your needs, based on availability, expertise, and fit. While we aim for continuity, treatment may involve more than one provider.
Rates and insurance:
Fees:
Therapy sessions range from $290–$300 per 60-minute session.
Telephone consultations are prorated after the first 15 minutes.
Insurance:
We are in-network with Tricare.
Please note that insurance coverage varies, and benefits may differ even within the same plan. We encourage you to check directly with your provider to confirm your coverage.
